StayCoolNYC and Olipop Loungewear, Sweater Collection

StayCoolNYC and Olipop are joining forces for a comfort-meets-function loungewear collection.

The loungewear label and soda company, respectively, are partnering on a limited-edition collection of graphic sweatshirts inspired by Olipop’s bestselling flavors: Vintage Cola, Cream Soda, Strawberry Vanilla and Grape. The sweaters are priced at $85 each. 

“As a brand and founder, we’ve always been huge fans of Olipop and what they are building as a company,” said Amin Adjmi, founder of StayCoolNYC. “I’ve always been captivated by the vibrant and nostalgic essence that their branding and content embody, so it truly felt like a natural fit to collaborate with a company that shares our passion for color, nostalgia and fun.”

The sweatshirts are designed with an Olipop and StayCoolNYC logo, as well as a graphic image of the soda flavor on the back of the sweatshirt. In addition to the sweatshirt’s exterior pocket, the garment also has a small interior pocket that’s designed to fit an Olipop can.

“I had started noticing friends and family ‘sneaking’ Olipops into movie theaters over the years, and then started to see social tags of people doing the same thing,” said Steven Vigilante, director of growth and partnerships at Olipop. “We’ve wanted to make merch for a while, so the lightbulb went off — why don’t we make a cozy hoodie with a secret pocket optimized for sneaking a couple Olipop cans into a movie theater? We were already in talks with the StayCool team and they loved the idea, so we immediately started mocking up what it could look like. We’re super excited by the final product.”

This is StayCoolNYC’s latest collaboration since launching in 2015. The brand has also joined forces with an array of companies like Burger King, Arizona Beverages, Barstool Sports and others.

StayCoolNYC and Olipop’s collaboration is available for purchase starting Friday through the former’s website. Retailers like Revolve and Urban Outfitters will carry the collection this fall.
