The company said it’s “honouring the significance of the rose in Islam as a symbol of the splendour of creation, love and the natural beauty that surrounds us”.
What that means in practice for the capsule is a “concise wardrobe [that] includes ready-to-wear and vegan accessories inspired by iconic brand silhouettes and the Summer 2024 runway collection”.
McCartney said the capsule “blends modesty with modernity and tradition with innovation – crafted from vibrant pink and black lightweight, luxurious fabrics upcycled from past collections to minimise material use and environmental impacts”.
There are satin daytime pyjamas, asymmetric cape dresses and kaftans that are monogrammed with S-Wave symbols and embellished with panels of lead-free crystal “for a conscious, celebratory attitude”.
The accessories offer includes “crystalline takes on the Falabella Mini and Tiny totes, alongside phone holders and wallets on chains” – available in degradé rose pink and black.
Additionally, from the Summer 2024 runway there are black recycled satin Falabella loafers and crystal-embellished Elsa mules.
The capsule prices range from €650 to €2,500, and will be available at selected Stella McCartney stores and retailers in Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait City and Doha.
