The police-spec Cybertruck is available in a variety of variants and can be ordered now

If the Ford F-150 Lightning Pro Special Service Vehicle didn’t float your boat, perhaps you’ll fall in love with UP.FIT’s latest police vehicle. It’s based on the Tesla Cybertruck and would make for an excellent waste of city resources.
Looking fit for a dystopian nightmare, the vehicle can be outfitted with lights, sirens, and a PA system as well as police radios and computers. UP.FIT also mentioned an assortment of options including prisoner partitions, K9 enclosures, and storage for weapons. The electric pickup can also be “customized for tactical, military, or search and rescue missions.”

Speaking of customization, the Cybertruck can be outfitted with beefier braking systems as well as wheel and tire packages. The company also mentioned Starlink internet connectivity as well as “optional upgrades for extreme off-road usage.”
While UP.FIT didn’t go into many specifics, their website lists Patrol, Admin, and Tactical variants. All three are slated to have a 340 mile (547 km) range and a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 2.6 seconds.
The Patrol variant is slated to have a siren and lights as well as 18-inch forged wheels with pursuit rated tires. The model will also have a spotlight and a new center console with an assortment of controls.
UP.FIT is currently taking orders and expects to begin deliveries late this year. The firm also claims the vehicle has “garnered substantial interest from agencies across the country.”
Unplugged Performance CEO Ben Schaffer said, “The UP.FIT Cybertruck Next-Gen Patrol vehicle represents a significant engineering leap into the future and we’re excited to offer law enforcement agencies the future of policing.” He added, “We’ve been thrilled with the direct feedback from police departments that have participated in our Cybertruck development and we look forward to deploying these complete UP.FIT vehicles to law enforcement agencies across the nation this year.”
