Fans hoping to catch WWE’s biggest show will have to wrestle deep into their pockets if they want to watch it ringside with ticket deposits starting at nearly $400 dollars.
Roger Cook unveiled yesterday the world’s biggest wrestling circuit would return to Australian shores for the first time in more than five years right here in Perth for a four-day extravaganza.
The pinnacle will be Saturday’s ‘Elimination Chamber’ one of just 12 premium live events scheduled next year as an Asia Pacific exclusive on February 24.
Roger Cook was expecting the event to attract more than 15,000 visitors from interstate and overseas stating, “These are set to be the hottest tickets in town,” encouraging people to pre-register for tickets.
However, even outside the ring fans may still feel the pain when they go to lock in their seat.
Pre-registering for tickets means forking out for a premium ticket deposit starting at $250 USD.
WWE’s ticket partner On Location said on their website the priority pass deposit guarantees a spot to book a ticket package before its available to the general public but does not reveal what additional costs will be.
With the likes of YouTube megastar Logan Paul, who caused a frenzy when he visited Perth for UFC 284 earlier this year, amongst a host of stars who could feature, fans may have no other options than to guarantee their ticket early with sales likely to be exhausted within minutes.
Traditional ticket retailer Ticketek does not yet have ticket information available but fans are encouraged to register their interest to have any hope of securing a spot.
The last time WWE was in Australia was 2018, when 70,000 fans packed the MCG for Super ShowDown.
