There’s No Escape From Insufferable Formula 1 Fans On This $10,000 Motorsport Cruise

Have you ever gone on a themed vacation, you know the kind of thing where you’re away for a week with a bunch of people who all love the same thing as you, like off-roading or craft beer? Well now there’s one for rich Formula 1 fans, who can all bond over how much cash they have during a special Aston Martin-filled cruise that stops off in Spain and Monaco.

Operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the cruise will run next summer when it will spend 10-days cruising the Mediterranean stopping off at cities such as Barcelona and Monte Carlo. The cruise will be packed with Formula 1 flourishes, including a replica Aston Martin F1 car, and you’ll be joined on the adventure by representatives of the British team, its road going car maker and ex-F1 driver Pedro de la Rosa, of course.

“I’ve spent over three decades pursuing my passion for racing in every corner of the globe,” said de la Rosa in a statement shared with Jalopnik. “I can’t wait to share this passion and my unique experiences with both Regent and Aston Martin Aramco fans while cruising the Mediterranean on this special voyage.”

As well as Aston Martin F1 cars onboard, the “special voyage” will include master-classes, workshops and panel discussions with members of the Aston Martin team. Bespoke driving activities will be planned for every stop on the cruise’s journey. There’s even a chance to add a trip to the Enzo Ferrari museum at the end of your voyage, as well as an option to add tickets to the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix to the conclusion.

The cost of all this will be a cool $10,000 per person, according to Forbes. Tickets to board the ship will reportedly start at high four-figures and rise from there depending on cabin choices and other options, as Forbes explains:

Prices for the special 10-day sailing start from $8,449 per guest. The cruise will begin in Barcelona on 22 July 2025 and call at Valencia, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Provence (Marseille), Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo, Portofino, Tuscany (Livorno) and Rome, where guests will disembark.

Considering what an absolute nightmare cruise ship vacations tend to be, being stuck on one with a bunch snooty of F1 fans seems particularly hellish. So is your idea of a dream vacation being crammed into a cruise ship with a load of Aston martin F1 fans? Or, would you rather take your ten grand and run to Antarctica with Lewis Hamilton and his palls?
