SEVERAL NEW MASTERPIECES WILL BE UNVEILED THIS YEAR

  • Aston Martin DB12 – Aston Martin has ditched the V12, and in its place, an AMG-sourced V8 now powers the DB12.
  • Audi is set to launch special edition variants of various models, including the A3, A4, A5, Q3, and Q5, throughout the year.
  • BMW is set to launch its X2, a new locally-produced X3, the latest 5 Series, the updated 3 and 4 Series, and a very limited number of the highly anticipated M3 Touring models.
  • BYD – The all-electric Chinese brand launched its Atto earlier this year. Still, with shipment delays, we will likely only see and experience it alongside the brand’s second local introduction, the Dolphin, which looks likely to compete for the title of SA’s cheapest EV when it arrives.
  • Chery – Chinese automaker Chery has re-entered the local market with great success, regularly appearing in the monthly top ten sales charts. The introduction of plug-in hybrid variants is set to bolster both the Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro ranges.
  • Citroen – With the successful introduction of its more budget-friendly C3, the French brand will look to keep up the momentum with an Aircross version of the C3, offering another compact crossover option within the market.
  • Ferrari – The prancing horse is set to launch an open-top version of its Roma in 2024.
  • Fiat – Word on the street is that we’ll finally get a new Fiat 500 in 2024.
  • Ford is set to add more Ranger models to the local line-up in 2024.
