This actor’s sister and mother were killed by his own father, made his debut with Kajol and failed in Bollywood

Kamal Sadanah, son of late filmmaker Brij Sadanah, was one of the most promising faces of the industry back in 1992 when he made his debut. He began his career with Rahul Rawail’s Bekhudi opposite another debuting name called Kajol. The film didn’t do well commercially but Kamal gave a success with his film Rang a year later with the late Divya Bharti.

On the occasion of his birthday, it has been widely reported his parents had an altercation which resulted in his father firing gunshots at the actor’s mother and sister and attempting to kill him too, before shooting himself.

The actor is married to make-up artist Lisa John. They have two children together, a son Angath and a daughter Namrata, named after Kamal’s late sister. Kamal’s production company ‘Angath Arts Private Limited’ is named after his son.
