Thousands have flocked to brick and mortar stores across the country to take advantage OF one of the biggest sales on the calendar.
Black Friday sales traditionally falls the day after the American holiday of thanksgiving and has quickly cemented itself as a major feature of the Australian sale calendar.
The sales have kicked off earlier than ever before this year, with online retailers slashing prices from midweek despite thanksgiving being celebrated on Thursday, November 23, and the annual sale not due to start until the Friday.
