Titans vs. Browns, Commanders vs. Bills predictions: NFL picks, odds

Post sports gambling editor/producer Erich Richter is in his first season in the Bettor’s Guide.

Tennessee Titans (+3.5) over CLEVELAND BROWNS

Another running back bites the dust with Nick Chubb out.

Prepare for another low-scoring AFC slugfest, but who does that better than Tennessee’s Mike Vrabel?

It’ll be a field-goal game at best in Cleveland, and the hook is important here.

But give me Derrick Henry and company against a Cleveland team on a short week that is still reeling from losing its top offensive weapon and has Deshaun Watson looking too uptight to compete.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (+6.5) over Buffalo Bills

Sam Howell found his groove last Sunday, and the Commanders should’ve beaten the Broncos by two scores.

Their late-game defensive struggles are likely giving us an extra point or two ATS — don’t expect this one to hit seven by game time.

Washington is 10th in defensive DVOA, and its offense is ranked 11th.

Betting on the NFL?

The only thing separating this squad from the NFLs elite is special teams struggles: the Commanders have allowed the most punt and kick return yards per game through two weeks.

That’s correctable, though, and if Washington can do that, it could win this one outright.

Last week: 0-1-1. Saints (P), Falcons (L)
2023 season: 0-3-1.
