Welcome back to Tuesday, dearest and gentlest of readers and Wordlers! We have one week until Halloween and the dawn of November.
I’m still not sure what happened to the first half of this month, it’s gone by in such a blur, but I’m really really not ready for winter so I’m going to hang on to these last warm days of autumn.
For now, though, let’s do this Wordle!
How To Solve Today’s Word
The Hint: A purpose.

Wordle Bot Analysis
After each Wordle I solve I head over to the Wordle Bot homepage to see how my guessing game was.
I’m not super pleased with my guessing game today. Sure, alone left me with just 88 remaining options and two boxes in yellow and green, but I really probably should have guessed all new letters for my second guess, since shade only slashed that down to 11 and I still had no clue what the Wordle was.
Haste left me with four, but the first one I came up with happened to be cause and lucky for me, it was the right answer! Huzzah!
Today’s Score
I get 0 for guessing in four and -1 for losing to the Bot for -1 point today. BOO!
