A KILLER who kidnapped and tortured a man to death has been spotted wandering the streets of a Scots town.
Murder cops have been hunting the man who killed Alan Lawson, who was found seriously injured at a home in Saltcoats ten days ago.
The 36-year-old is believed to have been abducted and tortured at a house on Alexander Avenue in Largs on February 3.
He was then dumped at a house on New England Road in Saltcoats, where he was found critically injured the next day.
Alan was rushed to hospital where he died last week – sparking an urgent murder probe.
But locals claim the killer has been seen walking around the town as cops hunt him.
Immediately after the brutal killing, the murderer posted a horrifying selfie of himself smeared in blood while boasting about it on Snapchat.
Sources told The Daily Record the suspected killer has been moving around different houses in the area to avoid cops.
One source told the paper: “He was seen just walking straight down the street. He got caught on camera – as bold as brass. No mask, nothing. He doesn’t care.
“From my understanding, he has been bouncing around houses to evade police. He also has a lot of dodgy friends who are probably more than happy to harbour him.”

They added: “There could have been people just walking straight past him with no idea of who he is. It’s terrifying.”
They also claim cops are struggling to keep on top of tips about the killing and have been aware of CCTV footage of him wandering around the town since Friday.
We previously told how “violent screaming” was heard coming from the house in Largs during the bloodbath killing.
It is believed he was chained to a radiator and tortured over the weekend at the Largs home.
Police have been stationed outside both properties as the probe continues.
Forensics scoured both homes last week and collected a DNA sample from the scene.
Cops say they are following a positive line of enquiry from their investigation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We have nothing to add to our previous statements.”
