The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the result for Phase 1 seat allotment, for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test – TS EDCET 2023 counselling process.
On September 19, 2023, the council began registration for the TS EDCET 2023 Counselling. On October 5, 2023, the web options filling ended.
The council announced the list of provisionally selected candidates for the TS EDCET B.Ed course today, October 09, 2023.
How to check results of TS EDCET 2023 Phase 1 seat allotment
Step 1: Go to the official website- edcetadm.tsche.ac.in
Step 2: Under ‘Application’ heading, look for ‘Provisional Allotment Login Phase 1’
Step 3: Click on the link to get redirected to the login page. Alternately you can click on the direct link here.
Step 4: Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Rank, then press on login.
Step 5: Upon successfully logging in, you will be able to view the results for phase 1 allotment.
Step 6: After viewing the results, take a screenshot, or save the page as a PDF for your reference for the subsequent admission procedures.
Procedure after seat allotment result declaration
As per the notifications, candidates who are allotted seats will be required to report to the given institution as per Phase 1 allotment, to confirm their admission.
For seat acceptance, candidates will be allowed to report to their allotted institution between October 10 and October 13, 2023.
After viewing the result, candidates will be required to pay the fee amount to confirm their seat and download the fee challan for joining day document verification.
October 10 onwards, candidates will have to report to the college with the fee challan and original qualification certificates. Once the verification process has been completed by the college, candidates will receive the final allotment order.
About TS EDCET 2023
TS EDCET stands for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance examination conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to two-year B.Ed courses offered at the Colleges of Education in the state of Telangana.
The TS EDCET score is used for admission to B.Ed courses at all government and private colleges of education in Telangana. The candidates who qualify in the TS EDCET are eligible to participate in the counselling process conducted by the TSCHE.
The number of people who appear for the TS EDCET varies from year to year. In 2023, a total of 31,725 candidates registered for the test, and 27,495 appeared for it.
