The TSWREIS military school is set exclusively for male candidates.Eligible applicants are male students/boys who have completed or are currently in the final year of grade ten. The online application deadline is March 1, 2024.
The entrance examination for eligible candidates is scheduled for March 10, 2024. Successful candidates qualifying the entrance test will then undergo physical fitness tests, slated for April 1, 3, 4 and 6, followed by medical evaluations before the final admission.
Additional eligibility criteria includes candidates not exceeding the age of 16 years as on April 1, 2024 – and must be born between April 1 2008 to March 31, 2010.
Boys who have completed class 10 at any recognised school during the academic year 2023-24 or are taking exams this year are eligible to apply. The parent’s annual income should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- (for urban students) or Rs.1,50,000/- (for rural students), as certified by MRO. Further, students must meet specific physical requirements as mentioned by the TSWREIS.
Online registration process
In order to submit the application, candidates will be required to pay a registration fee of Rs 200.
While filling the online form, candidates have the options to apply for either class 6 or class 11. Further these are the documents required to be filled in the form. List of certificates required for confirmation of admission:

Selection Process
The selection process consists of three major types of tests. First, there is the STAGE-1 Common Entrance (Written) Examination, which has a score of 100. Second, the STAGE-II consists of 150-point Screening Tests, including Physical, Sainik School Aptitude (Written and Descriptive), and Communication Skills Tests. Finally, candidates take a Medical Fitness Test to determine whether they are fit or not.
Stage 1 – Common Entrance Exam details
The written exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (bilingual English and Telugu) to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes. These questions will be based on the Class-V standard textbooks. To be eligible for the TSWREIS Sainik School’s Common Entrance Test-2024, students must score at least 25% in each subject and 40% overall.
