The Brazilians put one foot into the final by beating Al Ahly 1-0 in the first leg which was played at Loftus Versveld Stadium, thanks to Thapelo Maseko’s goal.

Now, all that Sundowns need is either a draw or a win to book their place in the African Football League final and set sights on the ultimate prize.

Al Ahly need to win by a two-goal margin or more to advance to the final, but a 1-0 win for them will see the match head into extra time and possibly penalties.
