UGC NET December 2023 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET Answer Key for December 2023 session. However, when candidates tried to view or download the answer key, they reportedly faced ‘errors’ on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
While trying to log in, candidates received pop-ups on the website saying, ‘Answer key not allowed’ or ‘No such application number or password’.
Meanwhile, the NTA, in a tweet on its official X handle, timed at 7:54AM, stated that the link for the provisional answer keys, and raising challenges are now active. The post stated, “Display of Provisional Answer Key(s) and Question Paper with Recorded Responses for inviting Challenges to the Provisional Answer Key(s) of UGC – NET December 2023, is live now.”

Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the link titled “Public Notice Answer Key Challenge UGC – NET December 2023.”
Step 3: A PDF will open on the screen; carefully review the information provided in the PDF.
Step 4: Now, click on the login link on the homepage, enter your details, and submit.
Step 5: The UGC NET December 2023 Provisional Answer Key will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the same and take a printout for further reference.

Step 4: Click on “View Question Paper” to see marked responses. To view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view/Challenge Answer Key.”
Step 5: Sequential Question IDs will be displayed.
Step 6: If you intend to challenge a question, use any one or more of the Option IDs in the next four columns. Click the checkbox and then ‘Save your Claims.’
Step 7: Upload supporting documents and pay the fee for the challenged question(s).

Out of the many UGC NET aspirants, some took to X (former Twitter), expressing their frustration. One candidate emphasized the urgency of resolving the issue promptly as the deadline for challenging the answers is on 5th January. She faced difficulties in checking the response sheets today morning.

Another candidate tweeted, “This is a sad situation created by the National Testing Agency @NTA_Exams. Students are literally complaining about this issue since the release of UGC NET DECEMBER Answer Key 2023 and the officials are yet to fix this Answer-key not allow issue. @mamidala90 @ugc_india”

Another post reads, “It’s been 10 hours,but didn’t get my answer key,every time gets this notice or just application form,not answer key,please do something 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏”
