Under Armour has announced the appointment of former company veteran Kevin Ross to the role of senior vice president, managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective February 12.

At the helm of Under Armour’s EMEA business, Ross will be responsible for the development and execution of regional omni-channel growth strategy, while also delivering on-brand consumer experiences to advance the business’s premium presence across the region that will drive sustainable, high profitable growth, said the U.S. sportswear firm in a press release.
He will report to president and CEO, Stephanie Linnartz and will be based out of the firm’s Amsterdam office.
With nearly 20 years of experience growing high profile brands, Ross joins Under Armour from Yeti, where he recently served as managing director of international.
During his previous employment with Under Armour, Ross spent nine years serving in numerous executive roles across the business including product creation, team sports, global football, tennis and sales.
That’s in addition to stints at Adidas and TaylorMade during his career.
