PRAYAGRAJ: Authorities of UP Secondary Education Board (UP Board) is all set to announce the result of class 10 and 12 Board exams in the first week of April.
This follows the decision of the Board wherein the work of evaluation of high school and intermediate answer sheets of will start from March 16 and will end by March 31. In a total of 13 working days, the copies will be evaluated by 1,47,097 examiners.
According to Board Secretary, Dibyakant Shukla, “A total of 55,25,308 candidates are registered for 2024 Board exams of which 29,47,311 students of high school examination and 25,77,997 in the intermediate examination. 94,802 examiners have been appointed for the evaluation of 1.76 crore answer sheets of the high school examination and 52,295 examiners have been appointed for the evaluation of 1.25 crore answer sheets of the intermediate examination”. Thus, 1,47,097 examiners have been appointed for the evaluation of a total of 3.01 crore answer sheets, he added.
He further informed that a total of 131 evaluation centers have been set up for the evaluation of high school answer sheets and 116 evaluation centers have been set up for the evaluation of intermediate answer sheets. The evaluation of answer sheets of both high school and intermediate will be completed at 13 mixed evaluation centres. Thus, out of total 260 evaluation centres, 83 government and 177 non-government aided secondary schools have been made evaluation centres.
