PRAYAGRAJ: The practical examinations of intermediate for the year 2024, conducted by the UP Secondary Education Board, commonly called as UP Board, will be conducted in two phases in the state.
In the first phase, practical exams would be held from January 25, 2024 to February 01, 2024 in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti division of the board.
Likewise, in the second phase, practical exams will be held between February 2, 2024 to February 9 in schools under Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur Varanasi and Gorakhpur division.
Like last year, high school practical examinations will be conducted on the basis of internal assessment (project work) at the school level. Individual candidates of high school should contact the Principal of their forwarding center and ensure the process of appearing in the practical examination.
According to Secretary, UP Board, Dibyakant Shukla, “Other necessary information regarding practical examinations and information regarding appointment of examiners etc. will be received from the respective regional offices of the Board. In order to maintain the sanctity of the examinations, the principals will have to conduct the practical examinations under the surveillance of CCTV, which will also help in organizing the examinations”.
The recordings will be kept safe in the DVR by the Principal and will have to be made available to the concerned regional office of the Board on demand, he added.
The marks of high school practical examination (internal assessment), moral sports and physical education and intermediate sports and physical education will be uploaded online on the council’s website www.upmsp.edu.in through the principal of the schools. The website for this work will become functional from January 10, 2024.
The pre-board practical examination of class 12 to be conducted at the school level will be conducted by the school principals from January 05, 2024 to January 12, 2024.
The annual examinations of classes 9 and 11 and the pre-board written examinations of classes 10 and 12 to be conducted at the school level will be conducted by the principals from January 13, 2024 to January 22, 2024, says the Secretary.
