UP Police Constable Admit Card 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice regarding the procedure for the written examination for the direct recruitment of constables in the civil police force.
Following the notice dated December 23, 2023, online application forms have been received from candidates seeking direct recruitment to the Civilian Police posts in Uttar Pradesh Police for the year 2023.Candidates with correctly filled application forms will proceed to the objective-type written examination, which will be OMR-based.
The structure of the written examination’s question paper is as follows:

The duration of the examination will be 2 hours (120 minutes). The examination will be objective and conducted on pen and paper (OMR). It will comprise 150 questions, each carrying 2 marks.
Candidates must select the correct answer from the four alternatives provided for each question and fill in the corresponding circle on the OMR answer sheet. Negative marking applies, with -0.5 marks deducted for every wrong answer or multiple answers filled for a single question.
The instructions regarding filling out the OMR answer sheet, including marking the examination centre code, roll number, question booklet number, and shift, are outlined in the article. Candidates are advised against erasing or refilling circles, as multiple answers will be considered incorrect.
While General Hindi questions will be presented in Hindi and English, other subjects will be in Hindi. In case of ambiguity, the English version will prevail. The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts and on different dates, with separate question papers for each shift. Normalization of marks will be employed as per the Board’s guidelines.
Questions found to be incorrect or unsuitable will be cancelled, and marks will be distributed accordingly, as per directives from the Honorable High Court, Allahabad.
