NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Mains Result 2023 today, December 8. Candidates who have appeared for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023 can now check and download the result from the official website at upsc.gov.in.
UPSC Mains Exam 2023 was conducted from September 15 to September 24, 2023, at various exam centres across the country.Candidates who have been shortlisted will have to appear for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the IAS, IFS, IPS, and other central services. The dates of the Interviews of these candidates will be notified in due course.
“On the basis of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 held by the Union Public Service Commission from 15th September 2023 to 24th September 2023, the candidates with the Roll Numbers and Name, as given below, have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’),” reads the official notification.

How to download UPSC Mains Result 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at https://upsc.gov.in/
Step 2: Look for the UPSC Mains Result 2023 link: The link will be prominently displayed on the homepage, or you can find it under the “Examinations” section or the “Written Results” section.
Step 3: Download the PDF file: Once you click on the link, a new PDF file will open containing the results. You can download this file and save it for your records.
Step 4: Find your roll number: Use the search function within the PDF document to find your roll number and check if you have qualified in the examination.

The candidates who have their names in the list of qualified candidates for Interview will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims viz. age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and other documents such as TA Form, etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview). Therefore, these candidates are advised to keep the said documents ready with them.
“The marks sheets of all the candidates, will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result [after conducting Personality Tests (Interview)] and will remain available on the Website for a period of 30 days,” the notification added.
The UPSC Prelims exam 2023 was held on May 28, 2023, and the result was released on June 12, 2023, in a PDF format, containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates for the UPSC CSE Main Exam 2023.
