BRITISH holidaymakers will be stung by eco-zealots on both sides of their getaways this summer after Just Stop Oil joined an international pact plotting to trigger airport chaos.
The woke climate cabal has told followers it will link up with similar protest cells across Europe to disrupt flights to popular holiday destinations like Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands.
There are also fears the protests could hit flights from the UK to German cities hosting matches at the Euros from next week.
The “internationally co-ordinated” climate action will cause misery for travelling Brits if packed tourist hubs are brought to a standstill by runway invasions.
In a message to supporters, the group claimed the airport project was their “most exciting” series of stunts yet.
It added: “As many of you already know, this summer Just Stop Oil is taking action at airports.
“That’s exciting, right? Well, there’s more.
“We won’t be taking action alone.
“Resistance groups across several countries in Europe have agreed to work together.
“That means this summer’s actions will be internationally coordinated.
“People across Europe will be taking the fight to airports, the heart of the fossil economy.
“This summer’s actions across multiple countries will go down in history.”
The group is even planning to hold weekly meetings to recruit would-be activists who could plot dangerous demonstrations at some of the continent’s largest terminals.
It is also thought JSO could target smaller, private airfields used by A-list celebrities with private jets, such as Farnborough Airport – where Extinction Rebellion zealots tried to block access last weekend.
Just Stop Oil is part of the A22 Network of climate protest groups, which has members in Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Last month eight activists from Germany’s Letzte Generation – the nation’s version of JSO – were arrested after forcing 60 flight cancellations by glueing themselves to a Munich Airport taxiway.
Incoming flights had to be diverted to other airports and it took specialist cops two hours to remove the eco-yobs from the tarmac.
It comes after Just Stop Oil said its members had “disrupted” the billionaire Duke of Westminster’s wedding ceremony on Friday.
