Well-known actress Gugu Gumede, who is famously known for her role in Uzalo has landed a role in upcoming telenovela, Isiphetho: The Destiny.
GUGU GUMEDE: LATEST ROLE
Entertainment commentator, Mlu reports that Gugu Gumede will star alongside DiepCity actor Chrispen in e.tv’s Isiphetho: The Destiny.
The Wife’s Mbalenhle Mavimbela, Gomora’s Thulani Mtswheni and Isidingo’s Linda Sokhulu have also secured roles on the show.
Other well-known actors include Tsholofelo Maseko, Thabiso Rammusi, Treasure Tshabalala and many more.
According to Teeveetee, the upcoming Black Brain Pictures production will kickstart sometime in April.
BACKGROUND: ‘ISIPHETHO: THE DESTINY’
Black Brain Pictures’ Mandla N reveals to Zimoja that Isiphetho: The Destiny is set in the heart of Soweto, amidst the vibrant community of Mzimhlope.
He adds that the story follows the intertwined lives of four friends who were bound by a life-changing secret during their teenage years.
“Now in their 30s, they find themselves drawn back to Mzimhlope, determined to chase their true destinies,” he added.
