Vegan activist Tash Peterson admits she enjoyed the taste of meat in an interview in Perth CBD

Controversial vegan activist Tash Peterson has made a shocking admission about enjoying the taste of meat in a bizarre interview on the streets of Perth.

The 30-year-old was discussing veganism with a school student in the CBD when she was quizzed on her lifestyle choices.

“How long have you been vegan for (and) why didn’t you realise that people were slaughtering animals beforehand?” the young girl asked.

Peterson revealed she has been vegan for seven years and was aware animals were being killed when she was a meat eater.

The young interviewee then asked Peterson if she enjoyed eating meat.

“I’d say yes, some animal flesh I did enjoy eating but I don’t think there’s a justification to abuse and murder animals,” Peterson said.

“Just like you guys, I grew up eating animals thinking it was normal and necessary to do that.”

The TikTok video has been viewed more than 100,000 times, with many social media users criticising Peterson for interviewing children about the topic.

“You’re taking your protest to kids knowing damn well they can’t fight properly against your argument 💀 Interview adults and other vegans then maybe the debate is fair 🤷🏻‍♀️💀.”

The video was posted just days before Peterson was kicked out and banned from the luxury hotel Crown Towers.

The activist claimed she was removed by security just hours after checking in with her boyfriend on Saturday.

“So we just arrived at the Crown Towers Hotel, and they’ve come knocking on the door to say that I’ve been permanently banned from Crown since September 2021,” Peterson said in a video that has since gone viral.

“They are only just serving it on me now, three years later. I’m permanently banned.”
