WA weather: Unexpected update on the State’s wild weather after tornado and Aurora Australis

WA has been hit with extreme weather events over the last couple of days, including a freak tornado in Bunbury causing damage to at least 40 houses.

Despite this wild weather seen in the State’s south west, WA has no severe weather warnings as of Saturday evening according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

Perth is even set to see blue skies in the coming days with moderate temperatures and cloudy skies.

The Bureau issued a severe weather warning on Thursday for areas running from Geraldton to Albany. The front was forecast to arrive on Friday, hitting coastal areas of WA.

Damaging winds and severe thunderstorms were predicted.
