Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) yet to decide when Tyler Brockman will return after traffic offence charges

Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) will make a decision later this week around a return to play for recruit Tyler Brockman after he was charged over a traffic incident in Geraldton earlier this month.

Brockman, 21, hasn’t played since he was dropped after the Eagles’ 37-point loss to Gold Coast last month.

The forward was set to play for the WAFL Eagles against East Perth on May 5, but was pulled out for personal reasons and hasn’t played since.

It was later revealed Brockman had been involved in a crash after attending the funeral of a relative in Geraldton the day before.

Brockman was investigated for an incident in Wandina which involved a ute, light pole and an alleged departure on foot.

He was on Sunday charged with careless driving, failing to report an incident in which property was damaged and failing to stop afterwards and will appear in Geraldton Magistrate Court on July 5.

Asked if Brockman would be available to play at any level before his court appearance, Simpson said it was yet to be worked through after the latest revelations.
