Bad Bunny showcased his acting and comedy skills during his appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 21. The Puerto Rican artist served as both the host and musical guest, participating in various skits alongside surprise guests Mick Jagger and Pedro Pascal. Alongside his comedic sketches, Benito also performed two songs from his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. Lady Gaga made an unexpected appearance to introduce his performance of “Un Preview,” speaking in Spanish and addressing Puerto Rico and all of Bad Bunny’s fans. One of the sketches featured Jagger in a “Telenovela” skit with Bad Bunny, where the artist played a Spanish soap opera actor who is repeatedly slapped by his villainous father, portrayed by Jagger. Jagger made another cameo in a parody skit of Sister Act 3 called “Convent Meeting.” The episode started with Bad Bunny’s monologue, with Pascal, known for his role in The Last of Us, joining to assist with translation and offer comedic advice for his opening act. Pascal also appeared in a skit as an overprotective mother alongside Bad Bunny. In case you missed it, you can catch all of Bad Bunny’s appearances from his debut hosting gig on SNL. The episode can be streamed on Peacock, which also provides access to previous SNL episodes.
