The trial eithin a trial of the five men accused of killing Senzo Meyiwa is expected to resume at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Tuesday, 21 November.
The focus is on the arrest and detention of accused 1 Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya who allegedly confessed to Meyiwa’s murder.
SENZO MEYIWA MURDER TRIAL CONTINUES
Five men are on trial at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria for the murder of the soccer star, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Fisokuhle Nkani Ntuli. They face charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravated circumstances, possession of firearms without a licence and possession of ammunition.
All five men pleaded not guilty as the trial has started afresh under Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng.

WHEN DO COURT PROCEEDINGS START?
Court proceedings normally start at 10:00, adjourn at 13:00 for lunch and resume again at 14:00. However, due to unforeseen circumstances on a particular day there are delays and sometimes court adjourns for either tea or lunch earlier than the set times indicated above.
