The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued the admit card for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Preliminary Examination 2023. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can access their hall tickets on the official website wbpsc.gov.in.
The Prelims exam is now slated for December 16, 2023. It was initially scheduled for November 5, 2023, but was postponed.
How to download WBPSC Prelims admit card
Step 1: Open your web browser and navigate to the official website of WBPSC at wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the section titled “DOWNLOAD ADMIT-CARD (FOR WRITTEN/ SCREENING TEST)” on the website.
Step 3: Click on the link provided for the WBCS Prelims 2023 admit card. This will direct you to the admit card download page.
Step 4: On the admit card download page, you will be prompted to enter your login details. Provide the required information accurately.
Step 5: After entering the login details, submit the information. This will validate your credentials and allow you to proceed.
Step 6: Once validated, carefully review the details on the admit card to ensure accuracy.
Step 7: If everything is correct, proceed to download the admit card to your device.
Step 8: As a precaution, take a printout of the downloaded admit card. This hard copy can be useful for future reference, especially on the day of the examination.

The commission had earlier notified on the official website that the exam will be held on December 16, 2023 (Saturday). The notice reads, “The Commission will hold the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) etc. (Preliminary) Examination, 2023 on the 16th December, 2023 (Saturday). The e- Admit Cards for the examination will be uploaded in due course. Candidates are requested to follow the Commission’s website https://wbpsc.gov.in for updates.”
Selection process
The West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Exam selection process consists of two major components: the Written Examination and the Personality Test. The Written Examination is divided into two stages. The first stage is the Preliminary Examination, which consists of 200 questions in an Objective Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format. The Main Examination, which includes both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type questions, comes next. Candidates who pass these written stages advance to the final stage of the selection process, the Personality Test.
