West Coast midfielder Jai Culley will make his long-awaited return from an ACL injury against North Melbourne on Saturday as the Eagles also welcome back in-form forward Jake Waterman.
Culley has not played at the top level since round eight last season, two weeks after he earned a Rising Star nomination with a career-high four goals against Port Adelaide.
The 194cm utility has impressed across seven games WAFL level this season as he built up fitness before putting his hand up with a 30-disposal game against Perth on Sunday.
As announced on Wednesday, mid-season draftee Jack Hutchinson has been rewarded for his five goals in the reserves and will make an extraordinary debut a week after being picked up by the club.
The trio will replace star midfielder Harley Reid (suspension), while forward Jack Williams and last week’s sub Zane Trew have been omitted.
West Coast failed in their bid to overturn a two-match ban handed to Reid for a dangerous tackle on St Kilda young gun Darcy Wilson on Saturday.
The 19-year-old won’t return until round 16 as the Eagles have a bye next week, while Kelly will miss a second-straight match with a hip injury.
Meanwhile, North Melbourne have made two changes, with co-captain Jy Simpkin returning from a quad injury.
Kallan Dawson is the other inclusion for the Roos, with Zane Duursma (managed) and Charlie Lazzaro (omitted) making way.
Duursma, WA defender Riley Hardeman, and Dylan Stephens are the listed emergencies, while Trew, defender Josh Rotham and forward Loch Rawlinson are the emergencies for the Eagles.
