West Coast star Elliot Yeo has announced he is expecting his first child with fiancée Tess Goodbody.
The pair, who got engaged late last year, revealed the exciting news on Mother’s Day with a heartwarming post on social media.
“Littlest Yeo, coming September ‘24,” the parents-to-be captioned an Instagram post.
The picture also featured their two adorable dogs.
Fellow West Coast premiership player Mark LeCras was among the first to share well wishes for the couple, writing “awesome news mate congratulations”.
Courtney Darling, the wife of Eagles star Jack, wrote: Mum & Dad (sic). So excited to meet precious baby Yeoy. Love you fam.”
Liv Cripps, the wife of West Coast forward Jamie, said: “So happy for you guys!!”
Tyrell Dewar, who made his debut for the Eagles on Sunday, wrote: “Congratulations uncle.”
The pair were first snapped together at the Eagles’ club champion awards in 2015.
Yeo did not travel with West Coast this week after an injury in the club’s loss to Essendon at Optus Stadium last week.
It’s the first game the 30-year-old has missed this season after a string of injuries over the past two seasons.
