For my pick, it has to be the Honda S2000. It’s not the fanciest gauge cluster, nor is it the most high-tech, but it has to be one of the most recognizable in the enthusiast world. That long, sweeping tachometer above the huge, centered speedometer — there’s no mistaking it for anything else.
The S2000’s gauge cluster tells you, clearly and unambiguously, what it’s about. It’s here for high revs and high speeds, and the car cashes every check written by those digital readouts. For my dollar, it’s the best gauge cluster out there.
