What’s The Best Winter Vehicle?

Much of the East Coast just got its first real (read: vaguely measurable) snowfall in two years, and it got me thinking about something: winter cars. But, not just any old winter beaters. Where’s the fun in that? Where’s the hope for something better? No, no. A winter beater will simply not do, and that’s what brings me to today’s question.

I want to know what your ideal winter vehicle is if money is no object. Tell me your winter dreams, child. Do not be restricted by price, practicality or if it exists in this world. The world is too gray to make your answers boring, too.

Here are just a few examples of things I think would make a really good winter car: A Mercedes G-Wagon, a Sherp, Santa’s Rocket Sleigh from Elf, an entire bobsledding team or a Ram 1500 TRX. Any one of these is a brilliant idea for getting around when the temperatures drop and the roads get snowy.

Think of how badass you’d look on a rocket-powered sleigh fueled by peoples’ belief in Santa Claus. Few things are cooler than that, let me tell you. However, if you really do want to go the traditional SUV route, a G-Wagon or a supercharger Land Rover Defender isn’t a bad way to go either. You get excellent V8 noises, old-school SUV looks and snow-ripping power in one great package. That’s hard to beat.

Anyway, I won’t stop you from writing out your winter daydreams any longer. Drop down below and let us know what your ideal winter vehicle is if we pretend money isn’t an issue (that’s what credit cards and long-term loans are for, anyway).
