“Breathe” easy, David Gilmour fans.
On Monday, May 13, the long-time Pink Floyd member announced his brief four-concert ‘Luck and Strange Tour,’ which included a pair of shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Monday, Nov. 4 and Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Due to overwhelming demand, the “Wish You Were Here” singer has added three additional MSG gigs to his itinerary.
He will now perform at the Knicks and Rangers’ home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10 as well.
On top of that, the Rock Hall of Famer also added an additional show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 31.
And while we can’t confirm whether or not Gilmour will perform Pink Floyd classics in addition to tracks from his forthcoming fifth studio album “Luck and Strange” on this brief jaunt, records show he has played favorites like “The Great Gig in the Sky,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Money,” “Time” and “Comfortably Numb” at concerts in year’s past, according to Set List FM.
In addition to the quartet of stateside gigs, Gilmour is also slated to perform six shows at Rome’s Circo Massimo from September 27 through Oct. 3 and London’s Royal Albert Hall on Oct. 9-15.
