Unlike yesteryears, these skilling platforms have come a long way from just being a VC tool to being an enabler. In the form of immersive content libraries, online tutoring, hands-on pedagogy, or even enabling millions with globally recognised curriculums, Indian Edtechs are powering the nation’s demographic dividend leading to a resilient economy.
This underscores the transformative impact of EdTech as a whole when it comes to accessibility and flexibility.
To gauge the impact of these platforms and comprehend the preferences of Indian working professionals for online learning and upskilling, marketing research agency NielsenIQ, in collaboration with The Times of India, recently conducted a study with them. For the survey, the methodology of Online CAWI interviews was followed while male and female working professionals and graduates above 21 years were roped in. The TG included serious learners who wanted to upskill themselves through a paid online course with a duration of >6 months.
