Kaizer Chiefs followers can’t wait for the start of the 2024/24 Betway Premiership. Coach Nasreddine Nabi has completed a fifth signing, and more could follow.
KAIZER CHIEFS ANNOUNCE INACIO MIGUEL
The newest name has been announced. He is the 28-year-old Angolan central defender Inacio Miguel.
“The Portuguese-born defender was an integral part of the Petro de Luanda team that participated in the Caf Champions league and won Angola’s domestic league title last season. He has also appeared five times in Angolan national team colours,” Kaizer Chiefs said, as quoted by TimesLIVE.
The club’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr added to say:
“We are happy to have a player of Inácio Miguel’s calibre join our team. We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team.
“We believe he will contribute significantly with his talent and we are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa,” Motaung Jr concluded.
WHY HIM?
Speaking to the club’s media during the announcement, the Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr said that Miguel has the traits that characterise the Kaizer Chiefs spirit.

FIRST 10 BETWAY PREMIERSHIP FIXTURES
In the meantime, the Soweto giants have confirmed the first set of 10 fixtures for the 2024/25 Betway Premiership.
The season will be starting with an away challenge in Bloemfontein against Marumo Gallants on the 14th of September, followed a home match against Stellenbosch FC on 22 September.
