A Woolworths customer has taken aim at the supermarket giant after taking a closer look at a recent pork buy.
Sharing on Facebook, the shopper said she was disappointed by the size of a Woolworths Hot Pork Roast that her daughter recently purchased.
The ready-made $21 roasts are a dinner favourite for many Australian families, and are cooked fresh in Woolworths stores across Australia each day.

But in her post, the customer said she was alarmed to see that the piece of pork with crackle measure less than 10cm in width and was half the size of roasts she’d previously purchased.
A photo shared by woman shows a tape measure lying alongside the tiny roast, showing that it was just 9cm in length.
“Asked my daughter to pick up a cooked pork for an early dinner,” she wrote in her Facebook post.
“Disappointed with the size, they used to be twice this size! This still cost $21.”
7NEWS.com.au understands that Woolworths has specific requirements for its pork suppliers regarding the size and weight of products to ensure as much consistency as possible when it comes to the size of each portion.
It’s claimed that given it is a natural product, size can vary from time to time and some roasts can lose up to 30 per cent of their weight during the cooking process.
