XBOX often adds free games to Game Pass for those who subscribe, but this month there is a game being given away with no strings attached.
To celebrate Pride Month developer Don’t Nod, best known for games like Life is Strange and Vampyr, has decided to give away one of its games.
Tell Me Why was first released in 2020, and is a choices matter narrative adventure much like Don’t Nod’s previous title Life is Strange.
Like Life is Strange, this is an episodic adventure and comes in three parts.
The blurb for Tell Me Why reads: “In this intimate mystery, reunited twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan use their supernatural bond to unravel the memories of their loving but troubled childhood.
“Set in beautiful small-town Alaska, Tell Me Why features true-to-life characters, mature themes and gripping choices.
“As you conjure up memories of the past, your choices will affect the twins’ relationship, determine the strength of their bond, and shape the course of their lives.”
Tell Me Why usually costs £14.99/$19.99 but it will be free on both Xbox and Steam until the end of June.
It was praised when it was released for having a trans person as a protagonist, which is one of the reasons why it’s being given away for Pride Month.
If you pick up Tell Me Why during the month of June, you can add it to your library and keep it for life.
Those who wish to add it to their libraries, can download it via the Steam store page or from the Microsoft Store page via your console.
