XBOX announces new additions of free game twice a month, and now we have the list for the first half of June 2024.
Two of the games already shadow-dropped to the platform earlier today, but another four titles are coming soon.
Arguably the highlight of this month’s lineup are Octopath Traveler 1 and 2, which were added to Game Pass before the official announcement.
Coming later in June are Depersonalization, Isonzo, The Callisto Protocol, and Still Wakes the Deep.
Depersonalization is a tabletop RPG inspired by Call of Cthulhu, the role-playing game based on H. P. Lovecraft’s horror story of the same title.
It’s a PC-only game, so naturally, it will not be available on Xbox consoles, but only through PC Game Pass.
Isonzo is a first-person shooter set during World War I, recreating the action on The Great War’s Italian Front.
You will be fighting against the backdrop of scenic Alpine vistas, rugged valleys, and the idyllic towns of Northern Italy.
The Callisto Protocol is the spiritual successor of the horror series Dead Space, and it puts you in a maximum-security prison on Jupiter’s second-largest moon.
As starship captain Jacob Lee, you will be fighting unworldly abominations, known as biophages, while uncovering a conspiracy.
Read more about how we felt about the game in our Callisto Protocol review.
Finally, Still Wakes the Deep will be a day one release on Game Pass, meaning subscribers will get the game on the day it launches.
It’s somewhat similar in premise to the previous title, but here you are trapped on an oil rig in the North Sea, and pursued by a mysterious monster that has come aboard.
