YOUTUBE is known as the place to go for entertainment, and now there is even more on offer.
The video platform has decided to enter the world of video games with YouTube Playables, a selection of free-to-play games on the platform.
The library is starting out with over 75 games that are free to play via mobile or in your browser.
Currently, Playables features a number of short mobile-style games perfect for people on the go.
Popular mobile games like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, and Farm Land are part of the first games added to YouTube.
You can play them either via the website or the app by clicking the Explore tab on the homepage.
Here you’ll be able to navigate to Playables, and select the game you want to try.
As it stands Playables is a regular part of YouTube, and you won’t need a subscription like YouTube Premium or a YouTube Family Plan if you want to play them.
Playables is currently being rolled out across several regions, so if you don’t see the Playables tab, you might have to wait a few days for it to come out where you live.
If you are signed into your YouTube account, the games will save your progress and high scores, so you can pick up and put them down at any time.
As this is the early days of Playables, YouTube is still looking for feedback and investigating whether it should expand the feature in the future.
