Launching on June 10 on Zalando’s online platform, this gender-neutral collection showcases vibrant hues, floral patterns, intricate embroidery, and raffia—hallmarks of classic Spanish fashion reimagined with Palomo Spain’s signature modern twist, featuring asymmetries, dramatic hats, and bold silhouettes.

Drawing conceptual inspiration from lively summer festivals, “La verbena del Palomo” captures a youthful, carefree spirit where self-expression reigns, accompanied by the rhythm of music. The campaign stars singer Amaia and actor Hugo Arbués, embodying the collection’s vivacious energy as its ambassadors.

“After months of hard work, we aimed to create a collection that seamlessly blends the craftsmanship and dramatic flair of Palomo Spain with Zalando’s urban, contemporary design. This inaugural capsule collection with a Spanish brand signifies our ongoing commitment to forging meaningful connections with local brands that inspire and excite our Spanish customers,” stated Riccardo Vola, general manager for Italy and Spain at Zalando.

Alejandro Gómez Palomo, the visionary founder and creative director of Palomo Spain, cherishes this collaboration with the German platform: “Working on a collection that genuinely reflects the spirit of both Palomo Spain and Zalando has been a delightful experience. ‘La verbena del Palomo’ encapsulates the essence of summer festivals and the spirited experiences of youth. We want wearers to be transported to those warm, music-filled nights of celebration, surrounded by friends and community.”

Since its inception in 2016, Palomo Spain has swiftly risen as a groundbreaking brand, poised to define a new era in both national and international fashion with its dramatic southern Spanish flair. Headquartered in Posadas (Córdoba), the brand has garnered accolades and support from esteemed entities such as the CFDA, the LVMH Prize, and The Met Costume Institute. While its prominence is evident on the runways, Palomo Spain also collaborates with notable brands like Puma, recently presenting a new joint venture, and Bimba y Lola.

Founded in 2008 in Berlin, Zalando stands as one of Europe’s premier marketplaces, serving 50 million active customers across 25 markets.
