ANC’S HAD ENOUGH OF ONLY SERVING HIS INTERESTS, SAYS MTOLO
Mtolo explained that the ANC never left Zuma, it was him (Zuma) who left the ANC.
“We have not left him, he has left the ANC… I think it is the hatred for Cyril Ramaphosa but also he has realised that the ANC has at some point got enough of serving only his interest at some point.”
“I can tell you the support that we have given President Zuma, even after we were elected in 2022, the support we have given him is beyond any person, but there is a limit where you say I can’t go beyond this,” Mtolo said.

NOT PUTTING ZUMA THROUGH DISCIPLINARY PROCESS A MISTAKE, SAYS ANALYST
Zuma has been on a campaign trail for the newly formed Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK party), which has been seen by many as a breakaway faction of the ANC.
Political analyst, Professor Ntsikelelo Breakfast, told The Citizen news, that the ANC made a mistake by not putting Zuma through a disciplinary process for publicly embarrassing the party and for bringing its name into disrepute.
“The party had opted to deal with him on public platforms, which is not what they should be doing as the first step,” Breakfast said.

PUTTING PARTY INTO DISREPUTE IS DISMISSIBLE – Fikile Vilakazi
Another political analyst, Dr. Fikile Vilakazi, said the ANC had enough reasons to suspend Zuma.
“He has put the ANC into disrepute in terms of its constitution. He is one of the members who should have been subjected to a disciplinary procedure and expelled. The kind of offense he has committed is a dismissible one,” Vilakazi said.
