Lomon plays So Eun-ho, her polar opposite. Eun-ho has been living life to the full without a care in the world until the day he is forced to enter the job market. He winds up becoming the oldest intern at Na-eon’s company.

2. A Killer Paradox

Lead cast: Choi Woo-sik, Son Suk-ku, Lee Hee-joon

Parasite actor Choi Woo-sik stars as Lee Tang, a seemingly ordinary university student struggling with his life in Netflix’s A Killer Paradox.

Working the night shift at a convenience store, he unwittingly gets into a fight with a drunk old man who winds up dead. Tang believes his life is ruined, until it is revealed that the man he killed is a notorious serial killer. He then begins to realise that he may have a special skill for ferreting out people who deserve to die.

All the while, Detective Jang Nan-gam (Son Suk-ku, My Liberation Notes) is on the case and follows his instincts no matter how often his superiors tell him otherwise. Also on the trail is Song Chon, a gruff ex-police officer played by Lee Hee-joon ( Mouse). (Netflix, February 9)

3. Wedding Impossible

Lead cast: Jun Jong-seo, Moon Sang-min, Kim Do-wan, Bae Yoon-kyoung

Jun Jong-seo ( The Call) plays Na A-jeong, a talented actress stuck doing background work. Although her hard life has given her little dating experience, she has acted as a married woman before, which comes in handy when a friend comes to her asking for help.
That friend is Lee Do-han (Kim Do-wan, Doona!), the heir of the LJ Group. He is being pushed into marriage by his family but a secret prevents him from tying the knot with anyone. So he asks A-jeong to pose as his fiancée.
The only problem is that Do-han’s younger brother Lee Ji-han (Moon Sang-min, Under the Queen’s Umbrella) is hell-bent on stopping the impending nuptials. He tries to steer Do-han towards Yoon Chae-won (Bae Yoon-kyoung, Crash Course in Romance) instead. (tvN, February 26)

4. The Impossible Heir

Lead cast: Lee Jae-wook, Lee Jun-young, Hong Su-zu, Lee Ji-hoon

Kang In-ha (Lee Jun-young, May I Help You) grew up poor with his single mother and is determined to make something of himself.

When he discovers that his father is actually the chairman of the Kangho Group he leaves his life of penury behind, only to be met with a frosty reception from his new family members.

He then pairs up with his brilliant childhood friend Han Tae-ok (Lee Jae-wook, Alchemy of Souls) and together they hatch a plan to take over the company. They will stop at nothing to take their places at the top of society. (Disney+, February 28)

5. Pyramid Game

Lead cast: Bona, Jang Da-a, Ryu Da-in, Kang Na-eon

Based on a web comic of the same name by Dalgonyak, Pyramid Game stars Bona ( Twenty-Five Twenty-One) as Sung Soo-ji, a student who has just transferred to Baekyeon Girls’ High School in Seoul.

On her first day she notices that, while her class seems peaceful, there is something off about it. Then she is forced to participate in the “Pyramid Game”. Students rank each other in popularity and the one who scores the lowest becomes the next target of school bullying.

With no allies on her side, Soo-ji gets zero points and begins to endure horrible bullying at school. She then tries to end her torment and get rid of the Pyramid Game once and for all. (Tving, February 29)
