One show into her 2023 ‘Scarlet Tour’ and Doja Cat is already making waves.
The 28-year-old Hip-Hop icon opened her 24-gig run on Halloween night at San Francisco’s Chase Center with a meticulously crafted five-act set that included high production value elements like a “giant eyeball, lengthy red ribbons that draped from the high ceilings, fireworks and a V-shape of fire” according to a review in The SFGate.
In total, she performed 24 songs including a show stopping cover of Hiatus Kaiyote’s “Red Room.”

Ice Spice, a 23-year-old Bronx native (born on Jan. 1, 2000!), exploded onto the mainstream with the success of her single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” on TikTok. Soon after, The New York Times calls her “rap’s new princess.” Known for her Bronx drill style, we recommend checking out her most-streamed track “Boy’s A Liar Pt. II” on Spotify to get a taste of her sound if you missed when she served as the musical guest on the season 49 premiere of “Saturday Night Live.”
Doechii, 25, blew up on TikTok just like Ice Spice. She was first noticed for her hypnotic bop “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake.” For our money, “Pro Freak” is the Doechii song you won’t want to miss though from her sonically diverse catalog. In her short career, she’s already received MTV Video Music Award and two Soul Train Music Award nominations.

On Sept. 22, Doja Cat aka Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, dropped her fourth studio album “Scarlet.”
Comprised of 17 songs including the smash single “Paint The Town Red” (which samples Dionne Warwick’s classic “Walk On By”), the record is full of Doja’s signature off-kilter horror rap.
Tracks like “Demons,” “Wet V—–” and “F— The Girls” are in-your-face Hip-Hop that will surely rile any crowd up.
Elsewhere, on the record, Dlamini busts out surefire club bangers like “Ouchies,” “Can’t Wait” and lead single “Attention.”
