BSEB Matric exam 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) recently concluded the class 10 matriculation exam 2024 on February 23. The Bihar Board class 10 exams had begun on February 15, 2024. Media reports estimate nearly 17 lakh students had appeared for the exams, of which nearly 8.7 lakh were female students and 8.2 lakh male students.
Following previous year patterns, the results for class 10 board exam are expected to be declared by the BSEB between last week of March and first week of April 2024.
However, last year, the board held matric exams from February 14 to February 22, with results announced on March 31. Similarly, in 2022, the Class 10 results were declared on March 31. Following past trends, it’s anticipated that the BSEB Class 10 result for 2024 will also be released before April 1.
The BSEB Class 10 board exam was held in over 1,500 examination centres throughout the state. To combat cheating and unfair practices, board officials conducted surprise inspections of exam centres. Additionally, the BSEB apprehended 33 people who were impersonating students during the Class 10 mathematics exams.
The Bihar Education Department recently announced that beginning with the upcoming session in April, intermediate education in all three streams—arts, science, and commerce—will be held exclusively in higher secondary schools. Following the announcement, students who complete Class 10 this year will be required to enrol in HS schools for further education.
