CBSE Board 10th, 12th Results 2024 Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided clarity on the much-anticipated announcement of the Class 10 and Class 12 board results. Through its official website cbseresults.nic.in, CBSE stated that the results for both classes are expected to be declared after 20th May 2024. This news brings relief to students eagerly awaiting their results. Both CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results are scheduled to be announced on the same day, adding to the excitement and anticipation among students and parents. This simultaneous declaration will streamline the result-checking process for all stakeholders.

CBSE Board 10th, 12th Results 2024: Access Code for DigiLocker

In preparation for the result declaration, CBSE has issued a 6-digit activated Access Code for students’ DigiLocker accounts. This initiative aims to facilitate easy access to the scorecards once the results are officially announced. Students can now conveniently view and store their results securely in their DigiLocker accounts.

As per the latest CBSE notification, the student-wise Access Code file is being made available to Schools in their DigiLocker accounts from where schools can download and disseminate Access Code to individual students. Moreover, the CBSE Board Result 2024 will be shared shortly.

CBSE 10th, 12th Board Results 2024: How to access Student DigiLocker account

For Schools:

• Go to the cbse.digitallocker.gov.in/public/auth/login
• Login using the LOC credentials
• Click on ‘Login as School’ from the dropdown menu
• Click on the ‘Download Access Code file’
• A new screen will appear from where schools can download the PIN:

-For Class X students — Click on Download Access Code for Class 10

-For Class XII students — Click on Download Access Code for Class 12

After downloading the file, the school have to share the Access Code individually with the respective students in a secure manner.

For Students:

1. Go to cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse
2. Click on “Get Started with Account Confirmation”
3. Select your class, either 10 or 12
4. Enter your school code, roll number, and 6-digit access code ( provided  by your school)
5. Click on “Next”
6. Enter your 10-digit mobile number
7. Click on the “Submit” button
8. Enter “Date of Birth” (only for Class 12)
9. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
10. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number
11. Click “Submit”
12. Your DigiLocker account will be activated
13. Click on “Go to DigiLocker Account”
14. Click on “Issued Documents Section”
15. The result will be displayed on your screen

How to Check CBSE 10th Result 2024 on cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in/ results.cbse.nic.in

1. Go to the official website cbse.gov.in or on results.cbse.nic.in (erstwhile cbseresults.nic.in)
2. Once declared, link for CBSE Class 10 Results – Secondary School Examination (Class X) Results 2024 will be available
3. Click on the link
4. A new window will open
5. Enter your Roll Number, School Number, Admit Card Id, Date of Birth and the Security Pin shown on the screen and Submit
6. Your CBSE Class 10 Results will be displayed on the screen

It is to be noted that the Central Board of Secondary Education has revised its policy in regards toppers list. While it used to announce the CBSE toppers ,list, the board has dispensed away with the practice. The board, instead, issues only a certificate of merit to the top 0.1% students in each subject.
