Delhi University releases academic calendar 2024 for MA, BA programmes; Classes commence today

The University of Delhi has released the academic calendar of various Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programme for the session 2023-2024. According to the schedule, classes for semester 1 are scheduled to begin today, i.e November 20, 2023.
Candidates who have taken admission to the courses for which the academic calendar has been released, can check the official document, uploaded on the website of Delhi University at – www.du.ac.in.
The academic calendar has been released for MA courses in Hindu Studies, Korean, and Chinese, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), Integrated Teacher Education Programme, and Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Law (PGDCSL).
As per the released schedule, classes for Semester 1 will commence from November 20, 2023 and the dispersal of classes, preparatory leave and conduct of practical examinations are scheduled from March 8, 2024, to March 15, 2024. Subsequently, theory exams are scheduled to take place from March 16, 2024.
Students will be getting a short break from March 27 to March 31, 2024, before commencement of semester 2 classes from April 1, 2024.

For semester 2, dispersal of classes, preparatory leave and the conduct of practical exams will begin from July 21, 2024, to July 28, 2024 according to the released schedule.
Theoretical exams will begin on July 29 and would go on till August 11, 2024.
