Delhi University Student’s Union Polls Voting Begins Tomorrow at 8 AM. The counting of votes will take place in the Conference Centre, opposite Botany Department, North Campus, University of Delhi.

DUSU Elections 2023: The Delhi University(DU) will conduct the much-awaited student’s union elections today, September 22, 2023. Meanwhile, the counting of votes for DUSU Elections 2023-24 will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 08.00 AM. The counting of votes will take place in the Conference Centre, opposite Botany Department, North Campus, University of Delhi.

Delhi University Student’s Union(DUSU) Election: Important Guidelines For Students

  1. Only those students who have paid the fee or on before 13/09/2023 (valid for fresh/1st-year admission only) and have valid college/department ID will be allowed to enter on the day of the DUSU elections (September 22, 2023). These must be strictly followed after the verification of valid college/department ID cards.
  2. In case a student has not been issued an ID card by the college/department, the entry of such students may be allowed only after physical verification of fee receipt with the college record/voter’s list by the college principal/head together with a government ID card (Aadhar Card only).

The office of the Chief Election Officer, DUSU Elections 2023-24 will issue the entry/gate pass for the Day of Counting i.e. 23/09/2023 (08:00) AM. According to the university administration, Students of day classes will cast their votes from 8.30 AM to 1 PM and those attending evening classes from 3 PM to 7.30 PM. The Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections were last conducted in 2019. The polls could not be held in 2020 and 2021 due to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic while possible disruptions to the academic calendar prevented their conduct in 2022.
