Disgraced rapper Diddy seen allegedly aassaulting ex-partner, singer Cassie Ventura in disturbing CCTV footage

Footage showing rapper Diddy allegedly punching and kicking his ex-girlfriend in a hotel hallway emerged yesterday.

The shocking CCTV video appears to show the music mogul – whose real name is Sean Combs – with just a towel wrapped around his waist chasing Cassandra Ventura.

As she tried to get into an elevator, he is seen grabbing her by the back of the head and slamming her to the ground.

The US rapper kicked her as she lay motionless, before grabbing the two designer bags she was carrying. Combs, 54, then drags singer Ms Ventura, 37, by her hoodie.

The disturbing footage, obtained by CNN, was filmed at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, in March 2016.

Two days later, the couple appeared on the red carpet holding hands for the premiere if The Perfect Match.

In a statement to the Mail, Ms Ventura’s attorney Douglas Wigdor said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr Combs.

“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Ms Ventura sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offences.

They settled out of court in November. Combs has repeatedly denied wrongdoing. In lawsuits filed since their break-up, Ms Ventura has described a years-long torturous relationship in which he controlled her movements and subjected her to abuse.

They dated between 2007 and 2018, after meeting in 2006 when she was 19 and he was 37.

The footage comes just two months after Combs’s homes in Miami and LA were raided as part of a sex-trafficking investigation.

He is also fighting lawsuits from other accusers who allege sexual misconduct and abuse. Combs has been contacted for comment.
