Amazon’s Echo Dot can control compatible smart home devices with your voice and can even creates routines, automatically turning on compatible lights when you walk into a room, or starting a fan if the inside temperature goes above your comfort zone.
You can also check the time at a glance, as well as set alarms, look up the weather, song titles and more.

Reviewers love the new improved LED display, which shows you the time, alarms, weather and song titles and the usual features like the voice activated alarms and answers to questions get the thumbs up too.
“Life’s a whole lot better with Alexa in the bedroom,” joked one reviewer.
The new, clearer vocals and deeper bass mean playing music or listening to audiobooks and podcasts is a more enjoyable experience and many have picked up that the sound quality is much better than in previous versions of the Dot.
