An employee has issued an urgent warning after making a shock discovery during a video call – thanks to a pair of specs.

The Aussie shared the reminder on TikTok after she spotted a reflection in her manager’s glasses during her performance review.

The reflection showed her that her manager was scrolling through Instagram during the catch-up.

“Reminder: take (your) glasses off if you’re scrolling during a teams meeting,” she wrote.

However, it didn’t end there for Jones, who admitted she had done exactly the same thing when talking to her boyfriend.

“My boyfriend saw I was scrolling when we FaceTimed smh (shaking my head),” she wrote.

The woman then showed viewers what it looks like when you wear a pair of glasses on a video call and do something you shouldn’t.

She zoomed in on her glasses, where a reflection of her phone’s screen could be clearly seen.

The TikToker’s video quickly went viral, gaining more than 246,000 views.

Some praised her for the reminders, with one writing: “Important PSA. Thank you hero.”

While another believed it was “just common sense.”

A mum took to the post adding: “This is how I see what my 12-year-old is looking at on her iPad lol!”
